Attributes collected for each lightning strike include: (1) Location, with a 100-500 foot spatial accuracy; (2) the Time of the strike in microseconds;
(3) the Rise-Time in microseconds; (4) the Peak Current in thousands of amps; (5) the Peak-to-Zero time in microseconds; (6) the Total Wavelet Time (in microseconds);
(7) the Wavelet Symmetry; (8) the Wavelet Polarity (+ or -); (9) Chi Squared, a quality measurement based on comparing measurements from multiple sensors;
(10) the number of sensors recording the lightning strike; (11) the minimum and maximum error ellipse; etc. Mapping this data shows lightning strike density and attributes cluster.
